BioThese wings? I wasn't born with them you know. I stole them. It was an eagle, if I recall. A beautiful, majestic beast. I remember grabbing it by the throat, tearing away the sinewy feathered limbs, and leaving my aven doner to die there in the trackless sands as I flew away with his flesh grafted to my back.
I regret it now, not that regret can undo what I did - the crime I comitted against nature in taking them. I know now that they were never intended for my use. I know now that I decieved myself
I was convinced I was an angel - or that I should be. That I was, in myself, a lesser god, and that I had been ill-conceived of man. I could substantiate my claim - the gods alone dared to stand against me, and every time I thwarted their designs through my own cunning.
But now I understand that it is all futile. Even with all my power, time is a force I cannot hope to overcome. It will overtake me. I will struggle against it and it will win.
